Limbguard's easy donning boosts your patients' confidence. Early training and increased proficiency with sock ply directly ensures prosthetic success.  Delaying this learning experience can be detrimental.Journal of Physiotherapy shows that at 1 year post-op, a delay of more than 160 days likely results in non-use of a prosthesis (Roffman, Buchanan, and Allison 224). Patient success starts with you. Limbguard makes it easy.

These are the "broad strokes" of an SOP we used in our practice. We found that early and repeated engagement with the patient and the surgical team was critical to eliminating confusion for patients, family, and all involved in a very daunting time. There is a lot of good research supporting this process that we're trying to cover in an upcoming CEU offering.
